BillSwipe App — Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
BillSwipe ("the App") is developed by Kalinga Labs ("we", "our", "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how the App handles user data in connection with your use of the App.
2. Data Collection
BillSwipe does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App functions entirely offline and stores all user data locally on your device, unless you choose to use iCloud Backup.
3. Local Data Storage
All user data, such as bill names, due dates, payment history, frequency settings, reminders, and optional snooze settings, are stored locally on your device. This data remains under your control at all times.
4. iCloud Backup (Optional)
BillSwipe offers an optional iCloud Backup feature when enabled by the user. If you enable this feature, your data may be backed up to your Apple iCloud account. iCloud data is encrypted and managed by Apple, not by Kalinga Labs. We do not access, store, transmit, or share your iCloud data.
5. Permissions Used
The App may request permission for:
- Local Notifications — to send bill reminders and snoozed reminders.
No other device permissions (location, camera, contacts, etc.) are requested.
6. No Tracking or Analytics
We do not use any analytics services or third-party tracking tools. No data is collected for advertising or behavioral profiling.
7. Sharing and Third Parties
BillSwipe does not share your data with third parties under any circumstance.
8. User Rights
- You can delete all App data by uninstalling the App.
- You can disable iCloud Backup at any time within the App settings.

We may update this policy from time to time. The revised policy will be posted on this page.
